Art tree

This is the final assignment, which is the art tree. My art tree is called UNITY. This idea is actually based on the three major races in Malaysia. Green color represents Malay, red color represents the Chinese while purple represents the Indian. The foundation of the design has 3 different roots, symbolizing the three major races were from different background. Then it twisted together in the middle part, symbolizing these 3 major races of Malaysia came to Malaysia and bonded together as a family, uniting as one. The top parts of it are clothes hanging around, but using red, green and purple color cloth. The clothes have another function, which is to pin A5 posters on itso then it can be called as an art tree.

For the group assignment, I worked under the group of Yap Zhi Jun. Her art tree was about saving our earth from global warming. This photo shows the complete work from us. 

Site Analysis

This assignment is a group assignment. It requires us to analyze the site that we chose. We chose the staircase near to the lake as our site. Through this assignment, I learned how to analyze site by observing it day and night. We had few of our group member to stay at the site for hours to analyze the site. We also conducted a survey regarding the site and had people to help us out. 

9 Sketches

These are the 9 sketches we are required to draw for our assignment. I draw all these sketches from the locations provided which is the Taman Perdana, Sunway Pyramid and KL Sentral. I applied different techniques in sketching these sketches such as water-coloring, pencil, artline pen and color pen. This is because we are required to apply at least 2 techniques and above in our sketches, therefore I applied 4.

Assignment 2

These are the technical drawings that i drew for my object. Through this assignment, I learned how to use T-ruler and other tools to draw a proper drawing. In this technical drawing, I drew the front elevation, rear elevation, section cut, details and side views for my object.
